Debra Ott, age 48, of Sibley, Iowa, passed away at her home in Sibley.
Private family memorial services will be at a later time.
Debra Jean Ott was born on January 21, 1959, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She was the daughter of Lloyd and Doris (Young) Shepherd. She lived her youth in rural Ashton, Iowa, and attended school in Sibley, Iowa.
She was united in marriage to Tim Ott of Hilbert, Wisconsin, on January 21, 1988, in Chilton, Wisconsin. They lived in Hilbert until 1997, when they moved to Sibley, Iowa.
Debra enjoyed sewing, cooking, surfing the internet, and visiting with her family and friends. She was devoted to her husband, family, and her many pets.
She passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2007, at her home in Sibley.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband: Tim Ott of Sibley, IA; her brothers: Mike and Becky Johnson of Milford, IA, Charles and Robin Johnson of Sibley, IA, Rick Johnson of Sibley, IA, Corey and Michelle Johnson of Sibley, IA, Jerry and Emily Shepherd of Watertown, SD, Larry and Melanie Shepherd of Brookings, SD; her sisters: Cleo and Suresh Prabhakaran of Mooresville, IN, Kathrine and Steve McKee of Sibley, IA, Karrine and Mark Secrist of Sibley, IA, Linda Goethe of Utah.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, one infant sister, two infant brothers, several uncles and aunts.
