Michael (Mike) L. Dawson, 53, of Clay, entered into rest Monday, October 5, 2009 at Hubbard Hospice House.
Born December 28, 1955 in Charleston, he was the son of the late Delmer and Mildred (Hysel) Dawson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Arthur Chuck, Larry and Buster Dawson, and nephew, Scotty Dawson.
Mike worked for Asplundh.
He is survived by his brothers, Ernie “BB” Dawson of Clay and Eddie D. (Wanda) Dawson of Clarksburg; sister, Betty Jean ( Shannon) Fankhouser of Scott Depot; many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank Hubbard Hospice House for their care and kindness.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Thursday October 8, 2009 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Ministers Paul Parsons and Tom Price officiating. Burial will be in the King Cemetery, Bomont, WV.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 Wednesday at the funeral home.
