| | | Brenda Lou Asbury, 51, of Clay, died September 29, 2007.
Born on August 7, 1956, in Madison, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Sadie McClanahan. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie McClanahan, and a sister, Barbara Jean Sparks.
She is survived by her son, Bobby Joe Asbury of Clay; her fiance, Frank Doss of Clay; brothers, Charles McClanahan of Clear Fork, Cleveland and Dorothy McClanahan of Barrett, Edward and Thelma McClanahan of Danville, Donnie and Karen McClanahan of Oceana, Bobby and Debbie McClanahan of Bald Knob, WV; sisters, Lula and Frank Ramsey of Madison Heights, VA; Doris Workman of Barrett, Lois White of Barrett, Jo Ann Peary of Oceana, Jeanine and Arthur Sampson of Bald Knob.
There will be no services.
Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, is in charge of arrangements.
