Alice Philistia Adkins Stephenson, 84, of Indore, entered into rest Sunday, December 16, 2007 at her home.
She was born February 22, 1923 in Clay Co. to the late Samuel and Fannie Adkins, in addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Martin Stephenson.
Alice is survived by her daughter Anita Stephenson of Indore, daughter and son-in-law Elaine and “Buddy” Shull of Elkton, MD and their daughter Krystal Shull of Liberty, NY., sons and daughter-in-law; Samuel and Beulah Stephenson of Indore and their children Dara Stephenson and Companion Robert Deal of Indore, Lorissa Stewart and Companion B.J. Jones of Kenna, and Samuel Stephenson II and companion Stacy McKinney of Indore, Teddy and Fay Stephenson of Indore and their sons David and Nathaniel Stephenson, Jesse and Melissa “Mitzi” Stephenson and their daughter Kelsey of Clay, Lester and Dorothy Stephenson of Summersville, and Elkton, MD., great grandchildren Kara Deal and Robert Deal Jr. of Indore, Ashley Stewart, Joshua Stephenson, and Abbigal Jones of Kenna, David Cox of Liberty, NY., Kaylah and Hannah Stephenson of Indore, sisters Ruby Woods of Lilly Fork, Clay, Dora Chapman of Corton, and Zora “Monk” Hall of Maysel,
Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Don Dobbins officiating. Burial will follow in Stephenson Family Cemetery , Beechy Ridge, Indore.
