Peggy Ann Bird, 61, of Hansford, formerly of Lizemores, died November 24, 2008, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, WV
Born on November 26, 1946, in Wallback, she was the daughter of the late Arnold Bruce and Helen Marie Hunt.
She was the owner of the Jer-I-Co Machine Shop for l8 years.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry C. Bird of Hansford; son, Jerry Bryant Bird of Hansford; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Matthew Bragg of Ovapa; brothers, Bruce Hunt of Pliny, Joe Hunt of Charleston, Berlin Hunt of Lizemores and John Hunt of Newton; sister, Helen Scarlett of Richwood; grandchildren, Andrew and Vincent Bird of Hansford, Rachel, Alexandria, Megan, Belinda, and Jacob Bragg, all of Ovapa.
Funeral service will be 2 pm Sunday, November 30, 2008, at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Gary Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Clay Memorial Gardens, Clay.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
