| | | Betty Jean (Nottingham) Acree, 82, of Summersville, entered into rest November 30, 2008, at Nicholas County Health and Rehabilitation Center, Richwood.
Born on May 21, 1926, in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Freeman and Freda Nottingham.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard V. Acree of Summersville; daughter and son-in-law, Julia Dawn and Stephen W. Brown of Montgomery; grandson, Leonard Darrell Brown of Tucson, AZ; aunt, Lorena Nichols, Lodi, OH.
Funeral service will be 1 pm Thursday, December 4, 2008, at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Herbert Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Clay Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
