| | | Dortha Lee Auxier, 81, of Dixie, entered into rest December 3, 2008, at Montgomery General Hospital.
Born on June 9, 1927, in Bentree, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Monroe Thomas and Hazel Jane O’Dell Thomas.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Living Word Church.
Survivors include her husband, William Auxier of Dixie; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Susan Auxier of St. Marys, Bob and Sue Auxier of Epharta, PA, Jeff and Linda Auxier of Midlothian, VA and Greg and Karen Auxier of Mt. Nebo; daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Bruce Legg of Summersville and Connie and Bill Fryer of Mineral Wells, WV; sister, Mary Auxier of Swiss; 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be l pm Saturday, December 6, 2008, at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with her son, Rev. Greg Auxier and Rev. Howard Presley officiating. Burial will follow in Walker Memorial Park, Summersville.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Friday at the funeral home chapel.
