| | | Margie Jane Greathouse Adams, 62, of Ivydale, entered into rest August 6, 2009, at Braxton County Memorial Hospital.
Born on January 18, 1947, at Harrison, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Greathouse. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her half-brother, Aubry McCracken.
She was a housewife and a member of Maysel Baptist Church. She enjoyed bluegrass music and frequently attended West Fork and Big Otter Community Centers.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and David Brackett of Shepherdstown, WV, Debbie and Larry Childers of South Charleston, Nova Adams of Ivydale, and Tammy and David Pritt of Martinsburg, WV; grandchildren, Kristen, Jason, Josh, Gabby, Nerys, Kendra and Ethan.
Funeral service will be 11 am Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Darius Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Strange Creek.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
