| | | Maysel Marie Blankenship, 70, of Maysel, died Wednesday, February 25, 2004, at CAMC-General Divison.
She was born on December 20, 1933, in Clay, WV, to the late Robert Kirby and Ida Jane Dawson Chapman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters.
She was a homemaker and a retired self-employed caregiver. She was a member of Maysel Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, David Morgan Blankenship of Maysel; son and daughter-in-law, David Wayne and Jennifer Blankenship of Harpers Ferry, WV; daughters and son-in-law, Ruth Hamrick Royal of Charleston and Kathy Hamrick Walker and John of Scott Depot; grandchildren, Elizabeth Royal, Susan Marie Walker, Zachary Morgan Blankenship and Joshua David Blankenship; brothers, Everett and Arthur Chapman, both of Orrville, OH, and Paul Chapman of Blue Creek, WV; sisters, Goldie Young of St. Albans, and Dorothy Daniels of Mounds, IL.
Funeral service will be l pm Sunday, February 29, 2004, at Carl Wilson Funeral Home, Clay, with Rev. Barnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Blankenship Memorial Cemetery, Maysel.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
