Waldo C. Boggs, 77, died after a short illness in Cleveland, Ohio on July 4, 2005. Mr. Boggs was born in Big Otter, WV on May 30, 1928, to Owen and Emma Boggs. He was the youngest of 12 children.
Mr. Boggs is survived by his loving wife 53 years, Dorma Olive Myers Jones Boggs of Cleveland, Ohio; daughters, Carol Elaine Zannino Jones of Clarksburg, Jo Ann Boggs Greenberg and son-in-law, Robert S. Greenberg, of Morristown, N.J.; and former son-in-law, Larry J. Zannino.
Also surviving are grandsons, John T. Saucer, Jonathan C.J. Zannino, Brian Zannino of Clarksburg; granddaughters, Rachel Letty Boggs Greenberg and Rebekah Celia Boggs Greenberg of Morristown, N.J.; great-grandchildren, John T. Saucer, Brandon Zannino, Travis Zannino, Anthony Zannino, and James S. Saucer of Clarksburg; sister, Emma Methaney of Big Otter; and numerous other relatives in the Clay County, Akron and Cleveland, Ohio areas.
Friends and family are invited to call at Carl Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Main Street, Clay, WV on Thursday, July 7, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Friday, July 8. Burial will follow immediately at Clay Memorial Gardens.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at a later date for Cleveland area friends.
The family asks that donations be sent to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Va. 23060 in lieu of flowers.
