| | | Doyle “Dickie” Brown, 74, of Walton, died October 13, 2005, at The Walton Inn, Walton.
Born on January 15, 1931, at Indore, WV, he was the son of the late Jonathan and Sybil Reedy Brown. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Madge Baker, and his step-father, Elkin Osborne.
He was a welder for NASA, and a Corporal with the US Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include his brothers, Gerald Brown, Dale Brown, and Jimmy Osborne, all of Indore, and Bobby Osborne of Belva; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 2 pm Sunday, October 16, 2005, at the Jarrett Cemetery, Indore, with Minister Herbert Vance officiating. Military rites will be conducted by Clay VFW Post 4419.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 pm on Saturday at Carl Wilson Funeral Home, Clay.
