Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Williamson Fullerton, age 72, of Morrilton died Thursday, September 3, 2009. She was born on September 15, 1936 in Dover, Arkansas to the late Victor and Amy Quinn Williamson. Liz was a member of the Downtown church of Christ in Morrilton. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, a member of Delta Kappa Gamma educational sorority and a member of the Literary Coterie.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Grace Fullerton Zern, a son-in-law, Donald Jeffery Zern, sisters, Amy Grace Harmon and Lois Nell Mason.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Olen Ray Fullerton of Morrilton; two daughters, Belinda Wells (Punkin) of Cleveland and Beth Fullerton of Morrilton; one sister Eva Dean Mahan of Center Ridge; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 5, at the Downtown church of Christ with Mr. Charles Bane and Mr. Randy Rankin officiating. Burial was at Elmwood Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Pallbearers were Bill Deaton, Bruce Bradford, Ray Ellis, Rod Lesley, Lindell Roberts, and Bill Brice. Honorary pallbearers were the Elders of the Downtown church of Christ. Memorial contributions may be made to the Downtown church of Christ Library or Building Fund.
