Larry James Zimmerman, age 57, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2009. He was born August 11, 1952, in Morrilton, Arkansas, a son of John Ike Zimmerman and Mary Louise Miller Zimmerman. He was Top Journeyman at Arkansas Kraft Division, member of the Steel Workers Union Local 1965-5 and St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
Survivors include his son, J. Brandon (Michelle) Zimmerman of Fort Smith; two daughters, Raegan Zimmerman of Oppelo and Natalie (Jake) Sterling of Fort Smith; four brothers, Gary (Shirley) Zimmerman, Raymond Zimmerman, Gordon (Donna) Zimmerman, and David (Juanise) Zimmerman; two sisters, Jeannie (Frank) Andrews and Thresia (Jerry) York all of Oppelo; four grandchildren, Drew Bunting, Carter Zimmerman, Peyton Zimmerman, and Emma Sterling; and a special friend Debbie Allison of Morrilton.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Father Richard Davis and Father Charles Thessing officiating. Burial will be at St. Elizabeth Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the rosary at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 10, at the funeral home.
