James Vincent (Jimmie) Lanni, Jr., age 56, of Conway, Arkansas died September 15, 2009. He was born April 15, 1953, in Center Ridge, Arkansas, a son of James and Germaine Veys Lanni, who have preceded him in death.
He has lived a long life with Down’s Syndrome and has been a resident for approximately the last 40 years at the Conway Human Development Center (earlier known as The Children’s Colony). The family wants to thank all the caregivers at the Center throughout the many years for all the good care they have given him.
Survivors include three sister, Susan and Chester Wayne Jones of Center Ridge, Betty Diehl of Conway, and Jackie and Donald Lain of Pine Bluff; one brother, Richard and Teri Lanni of White Hall. He also leaves nine nephews and nieces and six great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Center Ridge. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
