| | | William Paul “Tobe” Evans, age 84, of Plumerville, Arkansas, passed away Friday, September 25, 2009. He was born December 2, 1924 in White County, Arkansas, a son of T.L. Evans and Lubethel Sampley Evans. He was the widower of Emma Jean Nichols Evans, a WWII Army Veteran, retired School Bus Driver for Conway County School District for over 20 years, retired store owner, member of Plumerville Masonic Lodge #253 and Portland Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by one brother, Charles Evans of New Albany, Mississippi; three sisters, Mary Ruth Jones, Nancy Miller and Fern Olsen all of Jackson, Mississippi.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 28, at Plummerville Cemetery with Bro. Lindy Davis officiating. Arrangements by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
