Mrs. Nagel was an avid reader and stayed mentally active and alert by working the daily crossword puzzles in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. She could be seen most mornings in the lobby of the Chenal Nursing and Rehab Center, where she lived for the past 18 months, reading her newspaper. Afterwards, she made sure that it was passed on to others to read. She particularly looked forward to visits from her pastor, Father Charles Thessing, when she listened intently to the news he relayed from Morrilton each week. Her family wishes to sincerely thank Father Charles and the “Hoelzeman” girls and many others for their faithful, inspiring visits.
