Gwindola Brand, age 83 of Houston died October 7, 2009. Born February 16, 1926 in Houston, Arkansas she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Elsa (Moore) Griffith. Mrs. Brand was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Brand and a son Patrick Brand.

Survivors include her son Mike Brand (Deanna) of Houston; daughter, Karen Turpin (Bob) of Benton; daughter, Jane Lamb (Timothy) of Fayetteville, NC; son, John Brand (Mefa) of Bryant; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 10 at Perryville Assembly of God with Bro. Buddy Wroten officiating. Burial will follow at Cherry Hill Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home, Perryville. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday at the church.
