| | | Oma Elisabeth Edwards Brand, age 78, of Perryville, passed away Friday, October 9, 2009. She was born July 20, 1931 in Ola, Arkansas, a daughter of James Franklin Edwards and Ethel Agnes Cheeks Edwards. She was the widow of Beachel Blifton Brand, a homemaker, and member of Church of God International.
She is survived by four sons, Ervin Wayne Harris of Oppelo, Beachel Clayton Brand of North Little Rock, Bennie Andrew Brand of Dermott, and Robert Lee Brand of Baxter Springs, Kansas; five daughters, Elaine Elizabeth Handley of Conway, Irene Gertrude Tamburelli of Seattle, Washington, Macel Bee Pope of Gig Harbor, Washington, Lorraine Brand of Perryville, and Sally Ann Brand of Houston, Arkansas; 48 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren. Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Frankie Blifton Brand.
Memorial graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, at Deberrie Cemetery near Aplin with Rev. Rueben Leach officiating. Arrangements by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Online guestbook: wwwharrisfuneralhomes.net
