| | | Donald Bartlett, 67, of Morrilton, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. He was born April 21, 1942 in Morrilton to the late Bill and Artie Beavers Bartlett. He graduated from Morrilton High School, served in the U.S. Army receiving a bronze star for actions in Vietnam, and retired after many years at Green Bay Packaging. Donald was an avid hunter and fisherman, and proud member of the Plumerville Horseshoe Club.
He is survived by one sister, Sue and husband John Berkemeyer; one brother Billy and wife Peggy Bartlett all of Atkins; one nephew, Donald Wayne Bartlett of Russellville; one niece, Melinda and husband Troy Jeffrey; two great nephews, Sean and Dalton Jeffrey all of Newton, Kansas.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charlie Bird officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Al Zimmerman, Woody James, Bob Humphreys, Johnny Cummins, Richard Holcomb and Dail Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Monty Burcham and former and current members of the Plumerville Horseshoe Club.
