| | | On October 31, 2009 the world lost an incredible man, a faithful and true husband, and a daddy beyond compare; William Frederick “Billy” Andrews. He was born April 7, 1935 in Corinth Holders to the late Robert Lee Andrews and Lela Brannan Andrews. Billy graduated from Corinth Holders High School in 1953. He loved God and celebrated life everyday. He enjoyed food, hunting, fishing and playing Rook. He flourished in retirement after 34 ˝ years of service to the NCDOT. He will be dearly missed by his brothers, sister, their spouses and children. Billy also loved spending time with his brother in law and sister in law. He was blessed to have spent the last 55 ˝ years with his true love, faithful companion and beautiful bride, Phyllis. As a father of two girls, he was the best Daddy anyone could have. He loved his girls and made sure they knew. He was Pa-Pa to four grandchildren that were his sun, moon, stars and sky, all of whom he adored, spoiled and loved forever. Never could another man love and be loved so genuinely as Billy. He gave so unselfishly of himself. Beyond all things, he loved his family and was loved and cherished by them.

Grandchildren: Kelsey Branning, Harrison Gascho, Sydney Branning, and Samantha Gascho
Sister: Betty A. Murphrey and husband, Harvey of Wendell
Brother: Willard Andrews and wife, Ann of Raleigh
Robert Harold Andrews and wife, Margaret of Zebulon
Sister-In-Law: Alice P. Doan and husband, Jimmy of Wendell
The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service and Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 and other times at the home, 245 S. Selma Road, Wendell.
