Services for Buck Allen Bradley, of Hale Center, TX, were held at 2:00 pm, Friday, October 23, 2009, at the First Baptist Church in Hale Center with Dr. Carrol Green officiating. Burial followed in the Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Hale Center, TX.

Mr. Bradley died at his residence in Hale Center on October 20, 2009.

He was born February 10, 1930 in Texola, OK and married Betty Jones on June 16, 1973 in Hale Center, TX. He was longtime resident of Hale Center and worked for Hale County Precinct 3 for 31 years as a heavy equipment operator. He retired from the county in 1992.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Bradley of Hale Center, TX, 4 daughters, Linda Crisp of Hale Center, TX, Carol and Ricky Reese of Plainview, TX, Susan Strand of Lubbock, TX, Ragenia & Ernie Phillips of Lamesa, TX, 1 son, David Bradley of Twin Falls, Idaho; 1 brother, Bob Bradley of Kress, TX and 1 sister, Janie Smith of Floydada, TX, 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Allen and Chloe Ellen (Mitchell) Bradley, a brother, Walter Bradley, 3 sisters, Ethel Bradley, Lou Shackelford, Lela Hood and a daughter, Cynthia Morris.
