Services for Glenn Reagan, 90, of Abernathy, TX, were held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 30, 2009, in the Abernathy Church of Christ with David Bennett officiating. Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy.
Mr. Reagan died Tuesday, October 27, 2009, in Big Spring, TX.
He was born March 19, 1919 in Hale County, TX to George and Alice (Bolin) Reagan. He married Aleene Marie Baugh on August 7, 1946, in Lubbock, TX. She preceded him in death on December 8, 2005. He was a lifelong Hale County resident until moving to Big Spring, TX in 2006. He served in the United States Army during WWII in North Africa, Sicily and Italy. He was a member of the Abernathy Church of Christ where he served as Elder for many years.
He is survived by 3 children, Mark Reagan of Abernathy, TX, Frank Reagan and his wife Rhonda of Tyler, TX and Christy Nelson Smith and husband Stan of Ackerly, TX, 5 grandchildren, Laura Hale, Lacy Nelson, Vince Nelson, Katie Poyer and Jack Reagan and 2 sisters, Betty Riley of Abernathy, TX and Marie Killingsworth of Amarillo, TX.
