My father-in-law was USMC retired and his career spanned 1939 to 1969 thus WWII, Korea and early Vietnam so Howard and Dennis were in the same Theatre of Operations. Papa I will miss u dearly you were a wonderful grandfather. I am very lucky to have had you in my life. You were a great man and I always looked for your approval. Because of soneone like yourself leading the way and settling the example. I try to be a strong leader and soldier and set the example for all my soldiers cause of the way you taught me. I was so deeply saddened to hear of your dear father, father-in-law, grand father, and great grand father's death. Denise, Keith and Annette, I am so sorry for the loss of your father and grandfather! I think of all of you often from my childhood growing up across the road from your parents and grandparents.
