| | | Charmion N. Weaver, 81, of Bloomington, IN, and formerly of Linton, passed from this life on Sunday, October 25, 2009, at the Bloomington Garden Villa. Born in Vicksburg, IN, on May 2, 1928, she was the daughter of Isaac Newton and Ida Alice (Frye) Lewis. October 20, 1951, she married Hallie W. “Pat” Weaver, who survives.
Charmion was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a homemaker and loving wife. Charmion had worked for Angell’s Food Center for 11 years before her retirement in 1988.
Survivors include her Husband, Hallie W. “Pat” Weaver of Bloomington, IN; one Son, Hallie Weaver, Jr. of Bloomington; two Daughters: Mary F. Sipe of Bloomington, and Stacy Tosti of Linton; 16 Grandchildren: Ricky, Adam, Amanda, Jessica and LeeAnn Brown, Randy, Shane and Justin Cunningham, Danielle Doezema, Mickey Tosti, Erika, Jacob, Peri, Patrick, Nick and Heath Weaver; and 11 Grt-Grandchildren: Tyler, Gregory, Angel, Cody, Alex, Devon, Dylan, Breezy, Maggie, Hallie and Cade. One brother, Benny Lewis of Linton, also survives.
Charmion was preceded in death by her Parents, one Daughter Patricia Colbert, four Sisters and five Brothers.
Funeral services will be held at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 28th, 2009, with Bishop Joe Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield, IN.
Friends may call the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel for visitation from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 27th, 2009, and will resume on Wednesday, October 28th, 2009, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM.
