| | | Terry Howard, age 50, of Ocheyedan, Iowa, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2008, at the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley, Iowa.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at 10:30 A.M. at the United Methodist Church in Ocheyedan. Rev. Douglas Harding officiating.
Burial in the Ocheyedan Township Cemetery in Ocheyedan.
Visitation will be Monday, May 12, 2008, from 1-8 P.M. with the family present from 6-8 P.M. at the Andringa Funeral Chapel in Ocheyedan.
Terry Willis Howard was born on July 7, 1957, in Sibley, Iowa. He was the son of Ervin and Anna Mae Howard. He lived his youth in Ocheyedan, Iowa, where he attended school and graduated from Ocheyedan High School.
He married Rhonda Wilson of Ocheyedan, Iowa, on October 18, 1975, at the United Methodist Church in Ocheyedan. They lived in Ocheyedan and were married for 27 years.
Terry farmed on the family farm and raised livestock with his son, Jeremy.
He enjoyed watching his kids play sports, spending time with them, camping, and late night campfires. He enjoyed relaxing and playing with his dogs, Slick and Chester. He also enjoyed horse shows and barrel racing throughout Northwest Iowa.
Terry will be remembered as a very big-hearted, loving, caring and giving person.
He passed away on Friday, May 9, 2008, at the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley, Iowa.
Those left to cherish his memories are his children: Jeremy and Wendy Howard and their children: Wade, Jacob, and Olivia, of Ocheyedan, IA; Chantel and Scott Kloucek and their children: Tanner and Taylor of Terril, IA; Angie Howard of Urbandale, IA, and her fiancé Doug Mitchell; his mother: Anna Mae Howard of Ocheyedan, IA; Terry’s special friend: Kris Thorne of Ocheyedan, IA; 3 brothers: Randy and June Howard of Ocheyedan, IA, Brian and Brenda Howard of Ocheyedan, IA, Tom and Paula Howard of Ocheyedan, IA; one sister: Delores and Mike Redinius of Ashton, IA; and many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father: Ervin Howard; and his grandparents.
