| | | Delmas R. Abney, 69, of Terre Haute, formerly of Columbus, died at 6:04 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, at Columbus Health & Rehabilitation Center.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver and Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Calling will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday. A graveside service and burial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Crown Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Mr. Abney is survived by his mother, Delma Glass Abney of Seymour; children, Dale, Doug, David, Derrick (Kristy), Dean and Jason Abney and Dawn Satterfield, all of Columbus, and Alisa Abney of Terre Haute; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and a son, Eddie Ray Abney.
