| | | Robert M. Barton Sr., 93, of Freetown died at 8:40 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.
A private graveside service will be conducted Monday at Garland Brook Cemetery, with the Rev. Jerry K. Day Sr. officiating.
Arrangements were made by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
Survivors include children, Carol (Jack) Brisben of Elizabethtown, Evelyn Joan (Donald) Coulter of Hope and Robert M. (Pam) Barton Jr. of Frankton; stepchildren, Meredith (Mary) Payne of Freetown, Janice White of Columbus, Robert Jones of Pendleton, Rosita Dryden of Vernon, Linza Lou Hamilton of Seymour and Tom VanArsdale of California; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
Mr. Barton was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Garrett Barton.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana.
