| | | Margaret A. Arney, 93, of Central Avenue died at 2:50 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008, at Hospice of South Central Indiana I n p a t i e n t Facility.
The funeral will be c o n d u c t e d at 10 a.m. M o n d ay at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Larry Fields offi ciating. Calling will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.

Mrs. Arney was born in North Vernon April 15, 1914, the daughter of John and Melinda Marrs Day. She married Walter H. Arney Oct. 14, 1933.
Survivors include her children, Dorothy Wise of Columbus, Betty Jewell of Columbus, Helen (Russell) Bair of Arizona, Theresa Arney of Columbus, John (Shirley) Arney of Hope and Janice (Patrick) Everroad of Hope; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Arney was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on July 19, 1978; a great-granddaughter; and nine siblings
