| | | Charles E. Baker, Jr., 48, of Hege Street, died Friday, May 30, 2008, at 2 a.m. at his home.
Mr. Baker was formerly employed at Webb’s Veneer. He enjoyed playing the guitar, writing music and listening to music.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Greg Fish officiating. Calling will be from 9 a.m. to time of service Monday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Charles was born in Columbus May 28, 1960, the son of Charles E. Baker, Sr. and Mable Houpey Baker.
Survivors include his mother, of Columbus; sons, Charles J. Baker of Columbus and Joshua Levi Baker of Indianapolis; brothers, Lonnie Baker of North Vernon and Donnie (Sue) Baker of Columbus; a sister, Barbara (Greg) Fish of Griffith, Ind.; and a granddaughter, Kaydence Baker of Columbus. Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Baker, Sr.
