Lenora Barnett, 77, of Sunland Road, died at 1:25 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009, at her home.
Mrs. Barnett retired from Cummins Engine Company and enjoyed gardening, flowers and sewing. She was a former member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Richard Yeaton officiating. Calling will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Mrs. Barnett was born in Cedarville, Ky., Dec. 10, 1931, the daughter of James and Gracie Mink Lovins. She married Clifford Barnett on September 1, 1951. He preceded her in death June 4, 1998.
Survivors include her children, Martin (Connie) Barnett of Columbus and Linda (Donald) Toth of Troy, Mo.; brothers, Herman (Gladys) Lovins and Melvin Lovins, both of Columbus, Wilbert (Fayette) Lovins of Florida and Ben Eugene (Sue) Lovins of Carrollton, Ky.; sisters, Viola Bullock and Betty (Robert) Shafer, both of Columbus, and Sue Ellen (Elvin) Olmstead of Carrollton, KY.; grandchildren, Sarah Toth of Stevens Point, Wis., Rebekah Toth of Troy, Mo., David Barnett and Kristina Barnett, both of Columbus, and Lisa (Andrew) Baum of Stevens Point, Wis.; and a great-grandchild, Amy Baum of Stevens Point, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister, Lorene Rayburn.
