| | | Evelyn Lois Beam Ridenour, 89, of Taylor Road died Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 8:25 a.m. at the Four Seasons Health Care Center.
Evelyn retired from the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation in 1981 as a 2nd Grade teacher at Taylorsville Elementary School.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Bartholomew County Retired Teachers. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Butler University and her Master's from Indiana University.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Garland Brook Cemetery will the Rev. John Erickson officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Four Seasons Employee Christmas Fund or Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Arrangements were made by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.

Evelyn was born in Columbus, December 23, 1919 the daughter of Benjamin H. and Lessie Romine Beam.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Robert Donald Beam.
