Roy William Behrman, 92, of Columbus, died at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2009, at Willow Crossing Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Behrman was a core maker at Golden Foundry retiring after 42 years of service.
He was butcher and farmer and enjoyed fishing.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Crouch Chapel at First Christian Church with Richard Land officiating. Family and friends may call from Noon until service time Wednesday at the church.
Entombment will be at Garland Brook Mausoleum.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Florida Christian College, 1011 Bill Beck Blvd., Kissimmee, FL 34744.

Born in White Creek October 14, 1917, Mr. Behrman was the son of Alfred William and Alice Flora Langebrake Behrman. He married Betty L. Douglass February 15, 1942.
Survivors include his children, William K. (Cheryl) Behrman of Kissimmee, Fla., and Barbara Snyder and Brenda (Billy) Martin both of Columbus; grandchildren, Keli (Dan) Ball, Kresten Behrman, Colin (Kyla) Martin, Nathan (Sarah) Martin, Angela (Ronnie) Bulthuis, Donna (Rick) Johnson and Tiffany Snyder; great-grandchildren, Rikki Jo, Hannah, Kaitlynn, Claire, Elizabeth, Jadzia, Madelyn and Abigail and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Behrman was preceded in death by his father, Alfred William Behrman; his mother, Alice Flora Krienhagen; his wife on June 7, 2008; a grandson, Ronnie Snyder; two brothers and two sisters.
