| | | Priscilla Kay Giles, 71, of Scipio, died at 2:20 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2010, at her home.
Mrs. Giles retired from Como Plastics and worked alongside her husband in the Trucking Industry.
The funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Lane Loman officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. until service time Thursday. Cremation will take place following the service.

Born in Columbus, January 15, 1939, Mrs. Giles was the daughter of Ernest and Edith Holcomb Brooks. She married Hubert W. Giles, January 26, 1957.
Survivors include her husband; children Rita (Robert) Patterson of North Vernon, Terry Giles of Hampton, LA, Jerry Giles of Columbus, Diana Burton of Columbus and Connie Kabir of Indianapolis; brothers, Jerry (JoAnn) Brooks of Terre Haute and Joe (Ada) Brooks of Columbus; grandchildren, Phillip E. Fields, Brandi J. (Carrly) Isbell, Samantha K. Burton, Terry C. Giles, April Giles, Billy W. Giles, Jennifer D. Burton and Amberly D. Sharp; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Larry, Mike and Eddie Brooks; and sisters, Norma Fleetwood and Linda Brooks.
