Loretta Gail Spivey, 59, of Greenwood, died at 1:46 a.m. Thursday, February 10, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.
Mrs. Spivey retired from the Indiana Masonic Home where she was a dietary technician.
She was a member of Thompson Road Baptist Church in Indianapolis where she was active in the church choir. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends, playing cards and crocheting.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike Pastor Anthony Slutz officiating. Family and friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Thompson Road Baptist Church.

Born in Franklin March 4, 1951, Gail was the daughter of George Robert and Virginia Kathleen Stinson Spivey.
Survivors include nephews, Steven (Jennifer) Anderson of Columbus and David (Lori) Anderson of Franklin; a great-niece, Ashley Anderson of Taylorsville; brothers, Larry Griggs of Kokomo and Bobby Spivey of Tipton; a sister, Cathy Featherstone of Alexandria and an aunt, Juanita Ford of Nashville.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Sue Anderson; a brother, Dennis Griggs and a great-niece, Stephanie Anderson.
