| | | Emily Panthinnia “Treasure” Thomas, 64, of Morgantown, died at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus after an extended illness.
Born in Jerseyville, IL March 8, 1947, Emily was the daughter of Chester W. and Birdie Lee Abner Thomas.
A loving health care provider, Emily (Treasure) was a nurse in Germany for 18 years, previously worked at Advantage Care and was currently employed as a caregiver at Occazio Group Home in Trafalgar.
She was a member of Christian Chapel Church in Morgantown.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Christian Chapel Church, 6828 W. State Road 44, Morgantown, IN with Bro. Nelson Lee officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christian Chapel Church or Hospice of South Central Indiana, 2626 E. 17th Street, Columbus, IN 47201.
Arrangements were made by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home in Columbus.
Survivors include her friends and church family.
Emily was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and three children.
