| | | Florence M. Tomlinson, 94, of Central Avenue died at 3 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2005, at Willow Crossing Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Tomlinson was a retired route driver for The Evening Republican and also formerly worked at Brown’s Poultry Market. She was a member of the Methodist faith.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Barkes, Inlow & Weaver Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Edward Bennett officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Born in Brown County July 13, 1910, Mrs. Tomlinson was the daughter of William R. and Nellie Birtsel Hopkins.
Survivors include grandsons, Bill K. and Max E. Fisher, both of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann, Abby, Katie and Alexander Fisher, all of Columbus; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, including a great-niece, Beverly Buck, who was her caregiver.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Maxine Fisher; brothers, Dan and Leland Hopkins; sisters, Clara Geahart, Lula McIntyre, Effie Thompson, Gladys Bailey and Margaret Skaggs.
