| | | Mary Ruth Behrman, 88, of Indianapolis, formerly of Columbus, died at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005, at Hoosier Village Retirement Home in Indianapolis.
Mrs. Behrman was a former employee of Hooks Drug Store in Indianapolis and her family were founders of Behrman Moving & Storage. She was a member of Traders Point Church of Christ in Indianapolis and enjoyed spending time with family and gardening.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Inlow & Weaver Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with Steve Niemeier officiating. Calling will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until service time Monday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Born Sept. 18, 1917, in Goodland, Mrs. Behrman was the daughter of Harrison and Gertie Bridges Taulman. She married Robert A. Behrman Dec. 21, 1940.
Survivors include sons, James (Joan) Behrman of Indianapolis, Jerry (Barbara) Behrman of Phoenix, Charles Behrman of Bloomington, Alfred (Angie) Behrman of Cincinnati and Steven (Heidi) Behrman of Daleville; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Ed (Mary) Taulman of Monticello; a sister, Victoria Everroad of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Jan. 6, 1992; brothers, Charlie and Rudy Taulman; and a sister, Bonnie Osborne.
