| | | James L. Tucker, 63, of Daugherty Street, died at 2:34 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2007, at his home.
Mr. Tucker retired from Golden Castings in 1999 where he had worked for 31 years. He was a member of East Columbus United Methodist Church and 26050 CB Club.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Charles Aigner officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 12:30 p.m. to time of service Thursday. Memorials may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana or American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be sent to the Tucker family at www.barkesweaverglick.com. James was born in Liberty, Ky., Oct. 11, 1943, the son of James and Bonnie Chadwell Tucker. He married Wanda C. McQueary on March 29, 1969. Survivors include his wife; a son, Tim Tucker of Columbus; and a granddaughter, Haley Tucker of Columbus. Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his parents.
