Mr. Paul E. Ferguson | Special Services: A private family service will be conducted Thursday, November 5, 2009 at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery at White Creek. Full military rites will be conducted by the Bartholomew County Veterans Color Guard.

| | | Paul E. Ferguson, 67, of County Road 325 West, died at 9:37 a.m. Thursday, October 29, 2009, at Columbus Regional Hospital emergency room as the result of an accident near his home.
Mr. Ferguson was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was employed at Arvin Industries, retiring after 25 years of service.
Mr. Ferguson always enjoyed riding his bicycle.
A private family service will be conducted Thursday, November 5, 2009, at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery at White Creek with Virgil Clotfelter officiating.
Visitation is not planned.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana or Riley Hospital for Children.

Born in Columbus November 11, 1941, Mr. Ferguson was the son of John W. and Martha Kuhlman Ferguson. He married Nancy C. McKinney June 5, 1970, she preceded him in death December 27, 1994.
Survivors include sisters, Ruby Ritter of Columbus, Martha (Bob) Gabbard of Edinburgh, Betty Hurley of Columbus, Linda Swengel of Elizabethtown, Marjorie (Warren) Hawkins of Westport and Barbara (Ronnie) LeQuire of Grammar; brothers, Johnny Ferguson Jr., Donald (Grace) Ferguson, Kenny (Ruth) Ferguson and Tommy Ferguson, all of Columbus, Phillip Ferguson of Jonesville and James (Vickie) Ferguson of Scipio; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mr. Ferguson was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his son, Paul Leon Ferguson on January 19, 2009; and a sister, Mary Kathryn Black.
