Geneva A. Arthur, 92, of Home Avenue, died at 4:15 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2009, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mrs. Arthur was a homemaker. Baptized into the Kingdom of God at the age of 16, she lived a very faithful life and was a member of Maumee Pentecostal Church. She had a love for all animals, especially her dogs. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with the Rev. Randall Burton officiating. Calling will be from 9 a.m. to time of service Thursday. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Chambersville Cemetery in Spencer. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana. She married Ralph D. Arthur May 15, 1936. Survivors include a half sister, Helen Jones of Bloomington; and Roy and Martha Kinser of Columbus, whom she considered to be her children. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on February 17, 1995; and a brother, Wendell Jones.
