Nelson E. Harder age 90 of Haysville, Indiana died at 3:40 a.m. today (Monday August 27, 2007) in Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born at Louisville, Kentucky on April 4, 1917 to Christ and Laura (Himsel) Harder – married to Annette Seitz on October 12, 1937, she preceded him in death on March 18, 2005.
Nelson Harder was a farmer in the Haysville Community and member of Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville. Currently president of the Haysville Senior Citizens Club -
He did volunteer work at Northwood Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Jasper and also for the Dubois County Human Society.
Surviving are 1 daughter and 2 sons;

Funeral services for Nelson Harder will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday (August 30, 2007) in Christ Lutheran Church with burial to follow in Community Cemetery in Haysville. The Rev. Timothy Kraemer will officiate.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday (August 29, 2007) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville.
