Maxine E. Thyen age 93 of Jasper died at 10:50 p.m. Monday (March 31, 2008) at her home.
She was born on June 9, 1914 in Jasper to Dr. Jacob Joseph and Carrie (Kieffer) Schneider. Married Herbert E. Thyen on January 9,1936 he preceded her in death on February 28, 1999.
Maxine was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church – Daughters of Isabella and Tri-Kappa Sorority.

Preceding her in death besides her husband are 2 sisters, Pauline Fritch and Bernice Fisher. 1 great grandson Joseph Thyen.
Funeral services for Maxine E. Thyen will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday (April 5, 2008) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with entombment in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Friday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
