Cordella Hopf age 92 of Jasper died early Thursday morning (April 3, 2008) at the home of her daughter Donna Kays at Plain City, Ohio.
She was born at Jasper, Indiana on July 19, 1915 to Henry and Philomenia (Gramelspacher) Lechner – married to Claude Hopf on May 9, 1939, he preceded her in death on March 21, 1990.
Cordella was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper and the Daughters of Isabella.
Surviving is 1 daughter, Mrs. Richard (Donna) Kays, Plain City, OH

Preceding her in death besides her husband are 1 brother, Vincent A. Lechner and 2 sisters Florence Hurst, Marcella Heim and 1 grandchild, Andrea Sendelweck.
Funeral services for Cordella Hopf will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday (April 7, 2008) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with entombment to follow in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday (April 6, 2008) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Rosary at 3:00 p.m. Sunday by the D of I’s at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
