Veronica Bickwermert age 90 of Ireland passed away at 1:24 A.M. Friday December 12, 2008 at Jasper Memorial Hospital. She was born June 15, 1918 at Jasper to: Roman and Hattie (Eckert) Renner.
She married Sylvester J. Bickwermert August 31, 1940. He passed away May 18, 1998.
Memberships include: St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Anns Society of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Surviving: 1 son Richard Bickwermert of Huntingburg.
4 daughters- Mrs. Roman (Wanda) Knies, Mrs. Phillip (Sylvia) Jeffries both of Ireland, Mrs. Donald (Linda) Sander of Celestine, and Mrs. John (Patty) Wollenmann of Jasper.
2 sisters-Viola Wehr of Ireland, and Mrs. Leo (Lora Lou) Eckerle of Jasper.

Preceded in death besides her husband 2 grandchildren-Alyssa Bickwermert and Ryan Sander, 1 brother-Ivo Renner, and 3 sisters- Aurelia Mehringer, Marcella Stenftenagel, and Selma Merkley.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday at the Becher & Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday December 15, 2008 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland with burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
