Rosaline Baer, age 88, of Dubois, Indiana died Tuesday (March 3, 2009) at 3:00 p.m. at her home.
She was born at Haysville, Indiana on October 29, 1920 to George and Anna (Huebner) Eisenhut. She married Philmore C. Baer on June 11, 1949, he preceded her in death on April 28, 1986.
Rosaline had worked for the former Jasper Glove Company and the the Former Indiana Cabinet Company in Dubois.
She is a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and WELCA of St. Paul’s Church and the Haysville Senior Citizens Club.
Surviving are 3 daughters;
Mrs. Stanley (Wanda) Letterman, Haysville, In
Mrs. Ben (Phyllis) Pieper and
Mrs. Jerry (Sue) Striegel, both of Dubois, IN
1 son, Terry Baer, Dubois, IN
9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
1 sister, Ella Mae Nigg, Jasper, IN
Preceding her in death besides her husband is 1 son, Philmore Junior Baer. 1 grandson and 1 great grandson, also preceding are 2 brothers, Marvin and Radus Eisenhut.
Funeral services for Rasaline Baer will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday (March 6, 2009) in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery. The Rev. Charla Grieves will officiate.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Thursday (March 5, 2009) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel and 1 hour before service at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul’s Capital Stewardship fund or to a favorite charity.
