Dianne M. Seger, 58, Jasper died at 10:27 A.M. Saturday, December 26, 2009 in Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center, Jasper.
She was born in Jasper on May 26, 1951, to Linus and Marie (Knies) Burger. She married Larry Seger on May 27, 1973 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.
Surviving are two sons Phil Seger and his wife Krista, Jasper and Mark Seger and his wife Stephanie, Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Matt (Lauren) Bajorek, Indianapolis and Courtney Seger, Jasper; her mother Marie Burger, Jasper; three brothers Michael Burger, Cottage Grove, OR, Denny Burger, French Lick and John Burger, Los Altos, CA; three sisters, Mrs. Bill (Joyce) Bohnert, Phoenix, AZ, Mrs. Gene (Rose) Berger, Vienna, VA and Mrs. Mike (Maureen) Braun, Jasper; and a granddaughter, Addison Seger.
She was preceded in death by her father, Linus Burger, and her husband, Larry Seger.
Mrs. Seger was a 1969 graduate of Jasper High School and a 1973 graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington, where she was a member of Alpha Phi. She was a former teacher at Precious Blood School and a past member of Tri Kappa and Dubois County Pan Hellenic Association. She was also a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church.
There will be no public visitation.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday December 29, 2009 in Precious Blood Catholic Church, Jasper. Entombment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Jasper.
Becher & Kluesner Funeral Homes Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
The family strongly requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to The Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation, Community Food Bank, Precious Blood Catholic Church or Dubois County Community Foundation.
