Ronald E. Pfau, age 71 of Jasper died at 6:35 a.m Monday (February 14, 2011) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born April 7, 1939 in Jasper to Edwin and Cyrilla (Schuler) Pfau. He married Carla
Joyce on November 16, 1961 in St. Joseph Catholic church in Jasper.
Ron was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and retired from the City of Jasper Municipal Waste Water Department.
He served in the Jasper Volunteer Fire Department for 21 years.
He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church - Indiana Volunteer Fire Association - American Legion Post # 147.
He enjoyed Camping and NASCAR.

Preceding him in death are 2 sisters, Carol (Pfau) Rohlman Feldman and Peg (Pfau) Stetter. Also 2 brothers, Robert and Harold Pfau.
Funeral services for Ronald Pfau will be held at 9:30 am. Thursday (February 17, 2011) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. American Legion Post # 147 in Jasper will conduct military grave side rites.
District # 18 Indiana Volunteer Fireman Association will hold a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m.Wednesday (February 16, 2011) at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
