Joseph G. Sturgeon, age 48 of Birdseye, passed away at 7:49 a.m., Sunday (May 20, 2012) at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born in Jasper, Indiana on December 4, 1963 to Gerold and Alberta (Englert) Sturgeon. He married Penni Ingle on June 20, 2011 in Jasper, Indiana.
He enjoyed playing with his dogs.

Funeral services for Joseph G. Sturgeon will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday (May 23, 2012)at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday (May 22, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, and one hour before services at the church.
