Menasha
Clara M. Mielke, age 97, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2009, at Oak Ridge Gardens Nursing Home in Menasha. She was born August 10, 1912, daughter of the late Michael and Angeline (Liebeck) Jaskolski. On August 12, 1939, she married Leo Mielke at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Black Creek.
Clara was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Menasha.
Survivors include her children: Catherine Ashenbrenner, Navarino; Elaine (Fred) Maass, Weyawega; Jerome (Gail) Mielke, Kimberly; 6 grandchildren; 14great-grandchildren; two sisters: Helen Holowinski, Seymour, and Eleanor (Harold) Bins, Green Bay.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; son-in-law, Tony Ashenbrenner; grandson, Daniel Maass; 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
Friends may call St. John’s Catholic Church, 516 DePere Street, Menasha, on Thursday, Nov. 5th, 2009, from 10 am until funeral services at 11 am . with Father Paul Radetski officiating.
