Shiocton
Esther M. Wilkinson, age 87, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born November 19, 1921 to the late Martin and Mabel (Fraker) Olson. On October 25, 1941 she was united in marriage to John Wilkinson enjoying 57 years together with some sorrows, much joy and many, many laughs. He preceded her in death on July 15, 1999.
Esther was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Navarino. She enjoyed life, she loved her Lord and her devotion time. She liked reading, quilting, puzzles, playing cards, traveling, fishing and visiting but most importantly time spent with her family.
She is survived by: Eugene (Rosie) Wilkinson, Black Creek; Gary (Diane) Wilkinson; Shiocton; Lois (Jack) Bernard, Olathe, Kansas; Russell (Cheryl) Wilkinson, Shiocton; Vaughn (Sherry) Wilkinson, Seymour; Beth (Roger) Ort, Nichols; Tim (Rae) Wilkinson, Hatley; Bob (Laurie) Wilkinson, Shiocton; Kris (Steve) Jensen, Navarino; and Mark Wilkinson, Embarrass; 28 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, two sisters: Dorothy (Sam) Drescher, and Edna Grandy; four sisters-in-law: Katie Stedjee, Nancy Wilkinson, Margie Wilber and Bernice Kittelson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Friday, November 6, 2009 from 4 PM until 7 PM. Visitation will continue at Ascension Lutheran Church, Navarino on Saturday, November 7, 2009 from Noon until funeral services at 2PM with Reverend Lisa Stafford Officiating.
